Alexander de Groot, M.P.H.
Research & Data Coordinating Analyst
Alexander de Groot is a Research & Data Coordinating Analyst for the Med-HEART project, providing data management, analysis, and communications support. In all the work he does, Alexander is dedicated to reducing barriers to healthcare for underserved populations. This motivation stems from his undergraduate volunteer work at Health Leads, through which he helped connect low-income clients to social support services for basic health needs. Alexander was also an intern at the International AIDS Society and worked with their grant programs to increase HIV/AIDS research in countries underrepresented in the field. Alexander is now working on his Master of Public Health degree in biostatistics and hopes to use the data analysis skills he is learning to evaluate and improve public health programs.
Master of Public Health in Biostatistics, Boston University School of Public Health, 2016
